What Is Proximity Key?

A proximity key (also known as Push-to-Start, Smart Key, Intelligent Key or Keyless Go) is a remote shaped device that enables a keyless door access and engine igniting in your vehicle.
When user is within the appropriate frequency range, the proximity fob transmit radio frequency waves with your immobiliser to open and close car doors and even to crank the engine having the key in the pocket.
30 years ago, Mercedes-Benz was the first car maker to present this technology in their vehicles.
