The ECM is an electric control unit which used in modern motor vehicles to manage its electronic modules. Collecting input from sensors and sending output to the different components, the automobile computer alter the proper functioning of the auto motive.
The car computer system collect inputs from the different digital units in the auto like the fuel supply and crankshaft sensors to cleverly process data such as intake, injector of fuel , exhaust and a few other components to estimate and manage the operating scenario of the engine, transmission system like the lighting control, the ignition/injection timing, the body functions and so on.
A typical illustration is the wheel speed detector which examine the wheel speed and send the data to the automotive computer.
